01 / The problem
The problem
Enorsia, a UK fashion brand for women, men and children, sells online and in person. Stock, in-store sales and online orders needed to live in one system, so the same item could not be sold twice. Customers pay by card from the UK and abroad, so payments had to be secure and reliable.
02 / My role
My role
Team Lead. I led the team that built the inventory, POS and sales modules, and I owned the Worldpay payment integration.
03 / The solution
The solution
An inventory module holds products, variants and stock levels, shared by the online store and the point of sale. The POS module handles in-person sales and updates stock immediately. The sales module brings online and POS orders together for fulfilment, exchanges and reporting. Card payments go through Worldpay. The order is only confirmed after the server has verified the payment result from Worldpay, so a payment cannot be faked from the browser.
04 / The result
The result
Online and in-person sales share one stock record, and international card payments are handled through Worldpay. The store is live at enorsia.com.
