Central Police Hospital (CPH) Apps API
Secure REST APIs for the Central Police Hospital apps: appointment scheduling, prescriptions and lab reports, on top of the hospital’s Oracle database.

01 / The problem
The problem
Central Police Hospital wanted patients to book appointments in the CPH Care app, see their prescriptions and get their lab reports from their phone. The data already lived in the hospital's Oracle database, and medical records must only ever be visible to the patient they belong to.
02 / My role
My role
Sole developer. I designed, built and documented the API, including authentication and the Oracle integration, and worked with the app developers who consumed it.
03 / The solution
The solution
A Laravel REST API connected to the existing Oracle database, so the apps use the same records as the hospital. Patients sign in and receive a JWT with a limited lifetime. Every request is scoped to the signed-in patient, so one patient can never load another patient's data. Endpoints cover appointment scheduling (available doctors and slots, booking and cancelling), prescriptions, and lab report retrieval. All input is validated and responses use a consistent JSON format.
04 / The result
The result
Patients book appointments and see their prescriptions and lab reports in the app, served from the hospital's own records, with access limited to their own data.
